And then there was video
Taylor put together a wedding video with footage we took using the camera I gave him for Christmas last year. Its adorable and I tear up every time I watch it. Enjoy!

Hiya!
We're back! Wedding and honeymoon time is officially over. I can say with complete honesty that the wedding was absolute perfection and I wouldn't change a thing. I cannot wait to get the pictures back from our photographer and share them with you all.
In the meantime I thought I would share some of my absolute favorites from our photobooth.

I don't have the will to blog
Which I'm sure makes me a bad person.
But seriously my days go like this - drag myself out of bed, go to moms and attempt to be helpful in the wedding crafting, realize I suck at crafting and feel guilty/in the way, go to work, go back to moms and repeat the being useless game, go home to an apartment that I don't keep clean and a fiance who's waaaay more productive than me, get hives, take benedryl and go to sleep.

E - What kind of beer do you want at the wedding?
T - Natty Ice, Budwiser, Old English in 40 ounce and something fruity. Maybe that Cherry wheat one that comes in the Christmas Pack.
E - YES!!!!!! FORTIES!!!!!!!! Pure class!!!!
Nothing but the best for us.

What We've Been Up To - Part 1
Soooo I have finally gotten my act together enough to update you on all of the AWESOME things we have done in the past few months. I apologize, but its been crazy busy over here what with the moving, and the wedding planning, and the work, and the life stuff. I hope the next couple of posts make up for us being MIA!
Lets start with our trip to New York back in July! And by our I mean mine, as Taylor hung out with a couple of his groomsmen and his family that day in Jersey.
I am not a huge fan of New York. I get that it is full of life and culture and amazingness, and there are a bajillion places I want to go there (Murray's Cheese Bar anyone?) but its just not my favorite place. There is TOO much going on, and lets face it, when I am not 100% sure of everything I tend to get all hivey. However! I have to admit to having a ton of fun when I went into the city with my mom and her friend Lucy. Mainly because we got popsicles.
You are warned now that this is an INCREDIBLY long post.

New Jersey Trip
As I am sure all of you know we went up to Jersey this past weekend. We mainly went up for the bridal shower Taylor's mom threw me, but Taylor also managed to get some quality hang out time in with some of his friends and I managed to fit an entire day of New York exploration in.
It was a pretty fantastic weekend, though I have to admit to being a little bit exhausted afterwards. I was SERIOUSLY spoiled at the bridal shower and it was fantastic to finally meet people who's names I had only seen on paper or heard in conversation up till then.
I plan to do two in depth posts about the weekend after I have rounded up all of the photos we took, I seem to have misplaced my digital camera. (Mom...do you have that?) In the meantime if any of YOU have any pictures you took over the weekend I would love to see them and maybe throw a few up on the blog. You can send them to evandtay@gmail.com.

Honeymoonin
So we've been all over the place with where we wanted to honeymoon and what we wanted to do. Cruises, Greece, staying stateside, we've waffled back and forth so much that is amazing I don't have more hives than I currently do. (I don't like indecision.)
The one thing we did know we wanted was relaxation and a beach. Also we didn't want to bankrupt ourselves more than we absolutely had to.
Enter jetsetter. Where there was a deal we couldn't pass up that has a beach, relaxation, and isn't going to cost us an arm and a leg. Which means we can eat dinner out and pick up souvenirs for you all without feeling guilty about spending even more money.
So we are going to Villa del Mar on Provo in the Turks and Caicos. And we are going to soak up so much sun and relax like champions and you all will be incredibly jealous.
So excited!

Holy Bejeebus We've Been Busy
And yet I really can't tell you what we've accomplished.
Mostly I just send harassing emails to people asking for pictures, addresses, layouts, confirmations of time, so on and so forth. I am very passive aggressive as I never actually call anyone to harass them, just email.
Taylor has had a show this week though! And I got my eyes checked! And we took our engagement pictures! And I had my make-up trial!
Whatcha think?
Plus we have obtained and formatted pretty much everyone's addresses for the save the dates. Look at us go! Tonight we are printing envelopes and putting together as many as we possibly can. I am DETERMINED to get them out as soon as possible. And by that I mean by tomorrow.
Because meeting self imposed deadlines is important.
Also, I basically have the wedding website done. As soon as I get those pictures from the people I am harassing by email and Taylor writes up his blurbs we will be all set.
Can we talk about how excited I am to have that accomplished? Writing it has had me alternately feeling awesome and wanting to rip my hair out. Talking about yourself a lot and in third person is WEIRD.
P.s. We just bought these for us to use at the wedding. How AWESOME are they? And how PERFECT for the wedding logo we have going on?

Reply Card
I am LOVING getting the reply cards in the mail. So far we've only gotten three, and all three have come from those on my side of the wedding party, but they've been fabulous, and I am impatient waiting for the rest of them to arrive. (I'm resisting the urge to nag people for them.)
Our Venue
Taylor and I will be getting married on a private estate out in Gloucester that is run by a close family friend of mine. Mom has some lovely pictures of it, but alas I have not managed to get them from her so you will just have to settle for this brochure.
I've been picturing getting married at Wareham Farm for years and now that I am actually getting married I am so excited that most of what I dreamed up is going to be made into a reality. It is right on the water, has an amazing library and widow's walk for wedding party pictures, and a massive yard for a spectacular party.
Its going to be fantastic.

Weekend Wrap Up
I do believe this weekend gets the prize for being the most productive weekend ever. At least as far as productivity applies to Taylor and I. Highlights include:
Driving Connor's pick-em-up to get furniture to the storage unit
Having our first fight about something important and then getting over it
Finding a goldmine of dishes at the Goodwill (best haul I've had at one time yet!)
Peeling off stickers and washing all of the dishes that have been accumulating
Meeting with the rental company to book our tents
Finishing all of the major parts of the wedding party invites
The first snow of the season! Sadly, it didn't stick
We still have a bit to do as far as finishing moving Taylor out, but all of the main things are packed and accounted for. Getting the wedding party invites finished and out was a major accomplishment, and one I am so glad we have all finished so that I can now focus on the next big wedding craft. Like sewing burlap runners, or reupholstering a couch, or one of the other nine million things we have to do. Busy busy bees.

Meet My Makeup Artist
After much waffling back and forth on whether or not I wanted to book a makeup artist I decided that I did in fact want to. I want to feel like the best version of me, and I want the female members of our wedding party to feel pampered and pretty when they have to have their pictures taken nine million times. To that end I have found Catie and I am super excited to be working with her. She is a doll and a half and I cannot wait to see how gorgeous she makes everyone look and feel on the wedding day.

Goodwill Queen
If you had told me two years ago that I would be shopping for a vast majority of my wedding decor in goodwills, salvation armies, and on craigslist I would have told you you were insane.
But amazingly enough you are not insane. And I have gotten some AMAZING things that I cannot wait to have at the wedding. Mostly we have been focusing on china and glassware. We will be doing all of the table settings in gorgeous mixed and matched place settings. But I've also got some statement furniture pieces that we have big plans for. Though you'll see from the pictures below that a lot of them need some major paint or re-upholstery work. Anyone wanna volunteer to pull some staples out? I swear its super fun...
If you didn't believe me about how much fun pulling out staples is, maybe you'll believe that washing bajillions of dishes is fun?
No?
Damn.

Countdown to W-Day
Soooo I regularly log into The Knot dot com to go over the massive checklist they have about all the things I have to do before the wedding. It's like a mild form of torture that sometimes gives me panic attacks because ohmigodihaventfoundthecatereryetnorhaveidecidedonbridesmaidsdressesandtheweddingisgoingtobeacatastrophy.
Then I realize I am a nutjob and calm down.
Normally after Taylor says, "Evelyn you're being a nutjob calm down."
He's useful that boy.
Anyway, the point of this post is that The Knot dot com also has a handy dandy countdown with how many days you have left until your wedding. On Thursday we had 282 days left until our wedding. I informed Taylor of this and he decided we should do a countdown to our wedding day.
A countdown of cute random cheap fun little daily activities.
I have to admit its a pretty genius idea, except do you know how hard it is to come up with 282 daily activities???
However we are a super couple and we did it. 141 activities each we came up with. (I have to admit I duplicated a few.)
Then we made a Micheal's run and bought pretty paper and a scalloped square punch. (No Mom...I didn't use a coupon...) I punched out bajillions of squares, we wrote the activities on them, folded them up, and stuck them in a bowl.
So now we have something to do every single day before the wedding!
No, we are not going to post every single one on here, because thats a bit insane, but we'll keep you updated throughout the process.

Meet our DJ
Music is an incredibly large part of Taylor's life, so of course we wanted to make sure we had a DJ who had the same amount of passion that Tay does about the lyrical. We also wanted to make sure we had one that wouldn't play the chicken dance and who would have fun while making our guests dance.
Just in case you missed the fact above, we will not have the chicken dance at our wedding. Or any other song that has a dance associate with it.
I repeat...no chicken dance.
Sorry to crush everyone's hopes and dreams.
Now that that is cleared up let me introduce you to Amanda. Shes fun, totally into music, and won't play any songs with dances.
I cannot wait to dance up a storm.

Meet Our Photographer
We are entering the phase where we find all of the important vendors and book them before anyone else can. I feel like I am competing with invisible brides everywhere. Its intense I tell you, intense!
But we have a lovely photographer lined up to shoot photos of us, our lovely guests and family, and all the awesome details that go into a wedding.
Mostly us though...
Anyway! Meet Jason. He is awesome. One of my big things about our vendors is that I really want them to have as much fun at the wedding as we will have. (While still doing their jobs obviously...) I think that so far we've done a really good job making sure that will happen.
Check out his galleries and get super psyched about the awesome photos that will come out of our wedding.

Wedding Vibes
And now begins the non stop wedding talk. Aren't you tres tres excited??? I thought it was fitting to share the wedding vibe pinterest board I created as the first wedding post. I had to make it to get everyone on the same page with me in regards to the vision in my head. Apparently I am not very good at explaining things. Yes, this is me blog glaring at Mom and Taylor. I was pretty sure I made perfect sense with my descriptions...
Find said board here: http://pinterest.com/eapratt/vibez/
