That one time, last year...

A long time ago, and by that I mean like four months ago, we went to Philly. I'm pretty sure I posted about Rob and Em's Christmas party, which was our reason for being there to begin with, but we also spent the weekend wandering around the historic district of Philadelphia as well. We had a ton of fun and snapped a ton of pictures (we also have pictures from disposable cameras) and I would definitely go back.

What follows is a very photo heavy post, I would apologize, but what are you all here for if not to know and see every detail of our lives???

Holiday Party #2

Rob and Emily threw an ugly sweater party up in Philly that we drove 4 hours to attend. Luckily I adore them. They have to be one of the cutest couples ever, in that "we love each other and don't have to gross everyone out to prove it" kind of way, plus Emily and I share a birthday. The pictures are blurry and ridiculous, but a good time was still had by all.

As you can see by the top "prom pose" photo Sean and Patty also came to the party. We love them too.

Emily also won my heart by doing a pinterest craft from construction paper. Wins all around!

What We've Been Up To - Part 3

Continuing on with updating you on the awesome things we have managed to pack into the past few months I will now share our relatively recent trip to Mooresville with you. We went to visit Taylor's grandmother Barbara and we managed to pack a lot into the weekend. Most of it revolving around food!

We drove up on a Friday after getting off of work, so we got in fairly late and pretty much just went to bed. Saturday we spent doing all sorts of awesome things!

New Jersey Trip

As I am sure all of you know we went up to Jersey this past weekend. We mainly went up for the bridal shower Taylor's mom threw me, but Taylor also managed to get some quality hang out time in with some of his friends and I managed to fit an entire day of New York exploration in.

It was a pretty fantastic weekend, though I have to admit to being a little bit exhausted afterwards. I was SERIOUSLY spoiled at the bridal shower and it was fantastic to finally meet people who's names I had only seen on paper or heard in conversation up till then.

I plan to do two in depth posts about the weekend after I have rounded up all of the photos we took, I seem to have misplaced my digital camera. (Mom...do you have that?) In the meantime if any of YOU have any pictures you took over the weekend I would love to see them and maybe throw a few up on the blog. You can send them to evandtay@gmail.com.

Road Tripping

This weekend Taylor and I have escaped Virginia and headed out to Louisville Kentucky. We left last night after we got off work, leaving the zoo to be looked after by my parents. (Thanks guys!)

We spent the night in a Holiday Inn in some random city in West Virginia and then got an early start meandering our way into Louisville today. We stopped multiple times in random cities to go to antique malls, goodwills, or in one case a dairy queen. (Who can resist their soft serve?)

We've just now rolled into our actual destination. We plan to pack quite a bit into the next two days. Factory tours, meet ups with friends, possibly a zoo, and lots of eating. Apparently Louisville makes a lot of pie. I love pie.

Have some pictures from today. The massive dragon is pretty badass right???
