I seriously had to restrain myself from just flat out buying these. If one of you wanted to buy them for me, I wouldn't hate you for it. I'd probably love you for the rest of your life.

Mailboxes
So we're buying a house! We're in the midst of all of the paperwork BS that comes with mortgages and homeowners insurance and lawyers and realtors and so on and so forth. Which is both awesome (things are happening) and terrifying (I'm pretty sure we signed away our firstborn.)
To make the prospect of owning a new house even more exciting I've been shopping around for a mailbox. Unfortunately I don't think any of these are within our price range, but I'm going to dream of them anyway.
Items found here, here, here, and here.

Elisabeth Newton
Her pearl jewelry is adorable and all of the girls working in her booth seemed so sweet. I was completely in love with the pearl collar. But everything was adorable, from the mother daughter pearl set to the over the top headbands or the simple stud earrings.
The Vintage Junkie
This booth was filled with over the top sparkly jewelry. Amy was SUPER nice and I loved how everything had bits and pieces of vintage sparkle to it. There were these hand mirrors that were just absolutely gorgeous, in hindsight I wish I had picked one up.
Usborne Books
Give me a booth with kids books and I'll be unable to walk past. This booth had these adorable "busy books" that are basically books with tracks for wind up toys. (I would have totally picked them up for Becks and Joester, except we already have an awesome Christmas gift for them.) They were super fun, I particularly liked the one with the helicopter. And it looks like they have a Santa one online.
Through the Garden Gate
Through the garden gate had actually built a surround for their booth out of old pallets and whatnot. They are actually a (relatively) local boutique and I plan to drag Taylor there eventually to look around.
Dementi Studio
Dementi is a local Richmond photography studio that has a historical archive which is kind of awesome. Check out their top 50 - the Traffic Cop and the WWII Farewell are my two favorites. I'd stick them up on my walls!

What We've Been Up To - Part 1
Soooo I have finally gotten my act together enough to update you on all of the AWESOME things we have done in the past few months. I apologize, but its been crazy busy over here what with the moving, and the wedding planning, and the work, and the life stuff. I hope the next couple of posts make up for us being MIA!
Lets start with our trip to New York back in July! And by our I mean mine, as Taylor hung out with a couple of his groomsmen and his family that day in Jersey.
I am not a huge fan of New York. I get that it is full of life and culture and amazingness, and there are a bajillion places I want to go there (Murray's Cheese Bar anyone?) but its just not my favorite place. There is TOO much going on, and lets face it, when I am not 100% sure of everything I tend to get all hivey. However! I have to admit to having a ton of fun when I went into the city with my mom and her friend Lucy. Mainly because we got popsicles.
You are warned now that this is an INCREDIBLY long post.
