I find toddler tears hilarious

So it seems to be a trend that anytime I hang out with Joester lately he's sobbing his eyes out. I would take it personally, but I kind of think its hilarious.

Like the time I tagged along on a haircut adventure with him and Whit. Please, laugh at the photos with me.

The comb! The stranger in his personal space! The aunt laughing at him! How is a toddler to survive??!?!?

Luckily there is the Silver Diner and crayons/tubs of jam to make things better. It's cool Joe, I promise it gets better.

Lego Fest!

We're pretty lucky in that a lot of cool stuff comes to Richmond. For example recently Lego-fest came to RVA. I knew Tay would want to go, but it's one of those things where you can't really go if you don't have kids without looking super creepy. So we stole Becca for a day. It took her a little bit to loosen up and have fun, there were a LOT of people there, but once she did I think everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Here's ninemillion pictures for you to enjoy!

Frozen Yogurt

If you know me at all you know there are a few things I absolutely adore. Small children and frozen yogurt rank very high on that list of things.

So taking Becca and Joey out for a special treat of froyo last Saturday was kind of my idea of a perfect afternoon. (We also went to target and petsmart - because I am not above using niece and nephew time to run my errands.)

It was also a perfect opportunity to hook the little ones on froyo. Gotta start em young. I refuse to be the only one in this family who gets overly excited by the opportunity to pile random toppings on flavored frozen goodness. I think I succeeded. At least with Becca, Joey just seemed confused by the fact that the food we were putting in his mouth was very very cold. He really just wanted to eat his cereal pieces.

No, we didn't get Joey a cup the size of his head...we just posed him with Tay's bowl.

Becks picked all of her own ingredients. Strawberry yogurt, strawberries, and chocolate sprinkles. And a purple spoon.

Overall a highly successful outing.
